I’m Peter Jenkins, the owner of Wild River Outfitters. I have been fishing the rivers, bays, and streams of Oregon and Washington since childhood. Fishing is my passion, and I love seeing the excitement in an angler’s eyes when they hook a giant king salmon, steelhead, or sturgeon. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, you can expect the adventure of a lifetime with us.
As one of the top fishing guides in Oregon and Alaska, I’m here to help you catch salmon, sturgeon, and steelhead. Book your trip early—my calendar fills up quickly! Every summer, I spend time at Togiak River Lodge in Alaska, known for its fantastic fishing.
Join me on my 24-foot North River sled as we explore the Columbia and Willamette rivers, as well as various coastal bays and streams. I use top-quality equipment, including Okuma rods and reels, and the best bait and tackle to ensure you have a great time.
My grandpa Sheller Watson was the inspiration for all of my fishing passion. At an extremely young age, my grandpa would steal me for the weekend and take me trout and salmon fishing up in Washington. I remember he would catch salmon in Neah Bay and bring it back to the smokehouse so that my grandma could can it in the camper. I still have childhood memories of racing around in his cool fishing boats. He deserves credit for planting a seed in me that has grown to be a mighty force in my life. Without Grandpa Sheller, I would have never had a passion for the outdoors and fishing.

Cancellation Policy: Wild River Outfitters has a 21-day cancellation policy. If you cancel your trip outside of 21 days, you will not be required to pay for your fishing day. You lose your nonrefundable deposit. If you cancel within 21 days, we will still require full payment for your trip. I appreciate your understanding, and I can’t wait to see you on the water.
